Job Description

The Customer Success Engineer (CSE) is a technical, customer-facing role critical to ensuring the success and satisfaction to CyberArk’s customers. As a CSE, you are an on-demand technical expert, stepping in to assist customers with advanced questions, deliver solution demonstrations, support integrations, and guide deployments. Your expertise bridges the gap between technical implementation and business needs, enabling customers to achieve their objectives efficiently and securely. By partnering with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs), you help solve complex challenges, optimize customer environments, and drive adoption of CyberArk’s solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted technical expert for customer engagements initiated by CSMs or AEs, addressing complex technical challenges, questions, and requests.
  • Showcase Venafi’s capabilities through tailored demos, guide scalable machine identity solutions, support deployments across environments, and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver technical workshops, enablement sessions, and best practices to help customers optimize their Venafi implementations.
  • Support DevOps and automation initiatives, helping customers integrate Venafi solutions with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback and insights on customer needs, helping to shape the future of Venafi’s products and services.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Venafi product updates to deliver cutting-edge guidance to customers.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as solution engineering, technical support, or professional services.
  • Hands-on experience with Venafi products including TLS Protect, CodeSign Protect, SSH Protect, Zero-Touch PKI, TLS Protect Cloud, TLS Protect for Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of PKI, TLS/SSL protocols, and cryptographic standards.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cert-manager for certificate management and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and key management services (e.g., Azure Key Vault).
  • Experience with encryption, SSH key management, and code signing practices.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) tools and frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
