Overview
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Dynamic Yield, you will be the primary technical contact for clients immediately after they sign a deal. You will guide them through onboarding, integration, and ongoing technical consulting to ensure they maximize the value of our platform. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, client-facing skills, and strategic thinking to foster long-term relationships and drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the technical bridge between Dynamic Yield and our clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
• Lead the onboarding process, including technical integrations, migrations, and customization of the product to meet client needs.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance, training, and best practices throughout the client lifecycle.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, development and support teams to resolve technical issues and optimize client implementations.
• Maintain a portfolio of 15-25 clients, managing technical expectations and identifying opportunities for additional technical solutions.
• Assist clients in configuring APIs, troubleshooting issues, and understanding how to implement Dynamic Yield’s product effectively.
Who You Are
• Technical & Client-Focused: You understand JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and API configurations and can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
• A Strong Communicator: You can manage client expectations and proactively address technical challenges.
• Experienced in Account/Project Management: You have worked with multiple clients, ideally in SaaS, digital marketing, or e-commerce.
• Strategic Thinker: You go beyond technical troubleshooting to identify new opportunities for feature development and product adoption.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a technical client-facing role (TAM, Technical Consultant, Solutions Engineer, etc.) or as a front-end developer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Java is a plus).
• Experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, and digital marketing solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and personalization strategies is preferred.
