Welcome to the video-first world

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work. If you’re reading this and nodding, check out our brand video.

Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale—until now…

Meet Synthesia

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s, and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.

In 2023, we were one of 7 European companies to reach unicorn status. In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. In 2025 we announced our series D funding. In total we’ve raised over $330M in funding from top-tier investors, including NEA, Atlassian Ventures, WiL, PSP Growth, and existing investors such as Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, GV and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

About the role:

As our first Customer Marketing hire in EMEA, you’ll help shape how Synthesia partners with some of the largest and most forward-thinking companies across the region. This isn’t a typical customer marketing role — you’ll work hand-in-hand with our enterprise customers to bring their stories to life in creative, authentic ways that build both their brands and ours.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Field Marketing to design programs and experiences that make customers feel inspired, proud, and connected. From spotlighting transformative use cases to creating moments that celebrate innovation, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees our customers — and how they see Synthesia.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and scale a regional customer marketing strategy that prioritizes key enterprise accounts, builds advocacy, and drives retention and expansion across EMEA.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers to foster authentic advocacy
  • Create and amplify customer stories through multiple channels — from thought leadership and video features to speaking engagements and community activations — reflecting the diversity and innovation of our EMEA customer base.
  • Partner with Field Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to design programs that integrate customers into our events, campaigns, and go-to-market efforts.
  • Build and manage scalable initiatives — from advisory boards and executive dinners to community and loyalty programs — that deepen engagement and showcase customer success.
  • Tailor all customer engagement to regional market nuances (language, culture, industry context), ensuring relevance and authenticity in every interaction.
You may be a good fit if you have:
  • 6+ years of experience in customer marketing within B2B SaaS companies.
  • A proven track record building customer advocacy programs from scratch and driving enterprise-account engagement in EMEA markets.
  • Demonstrable expertise in storytelling: identifying compelling customer narratives, crafting content across formats (written, video, event/speaking), and amplifying them across channels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills: able to engage senior customer executives and internal teams (Sales, CS, Product, Marketing) effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages to different markets and cultures across EMEA.
  • Passion for building authentic communities and celebrating customer success in creative, human ways.
  • Based in the EMEA region, with willingness to travel within the region as required.

At Synthesia we expect everyone to...

  • Put the Customer First
  • Own it & Go Direct
  • Be Fast & Experimental
  • Make the Journey Fun
