Job Description

We're looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative D2C marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape customer marketing initiatives for two innovative investment brands:

  • Dodl – a low-cost, user-friendly investment app.
  • AJ Bell – a platform offering advanced investment options and features.

You’ll split your time between these brands, gaining diverse experience in campaign strategy and management, customer engagement, and CRM strategies. In this role you’ll have a direct impact on business growth and customer engagement, with opportunities to present your work and insights to senior leadership.

Our team fosters a collaborative and supportive environment within a fast-growing organisation. You’ll enjoy brainstorming sessions, as well as the autonomy to take ownership of projects and see them through independently. We’re committed to building an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming culture where everyone’s ideas are valued and contributions are recognised.

Key responsibilities are:

  • End-to-end campaign management: develop, plan, execute, and optimise service and marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Marketing strategy: develop in-life, cross-sell, up-sell, and engagement strategies to drive revenue growth and customer engagement. Utilise commercial acumen to identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell and develop and optimise offers to maximise impact, aligning to business objectives.
  • Data-driven optimisation: analyse campaign performance, identify insights, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Test and learn: embed an ‘always-on’ approach to test-measure-learn, using data-driven insights to continuously improve customer and commercial results.
  • Compliance: ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder management: collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as CRM, Brand, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Data to ensure alignment and deliver best-in-class customer communications.
  • CRM: build and deploy emails using CRM tools and leverage customer data for segmentation and personalisation.
  • Project management: lead and coordinate multiple projects, utilising strong project management skills to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and meet key performance metrics.

Competence, Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in customer marketing, with demonstrated success in delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • A strategic thinker who can see the big picture and articulate ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on testing, learning, and optimising.
  • Results-driven, with strong analytical skills to measure campaign success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who can build strong relationships across the organisation.
  • Customer-focused, with a strong understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating tailored solutions.
