Here’s a summary of the role:
Are you passionate about understanding customer behavior? Join YouGov as our Customer Marketing Lead and become the bridge between enthusiastic users and strategic business decisions.
As the resident customer expert within the marketing team, you will amplify the voice of the customer and develop community marketing. You’ll design a strategic framework for collecting and analyzing customer feedback across the customer journey, translating insights into actionable strategies for Product Marketing and the wider business. Assembling a customer advisory board of product super-users, you’ll support client-led product development and launch a certification program aimed at enhancing brand loyalty and advocacy.
If you thrive on fostering customer-led innovation and directing new business initiatives, we’re eager to hear from you.
Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, so you must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis – UK / EU citizen or ILR.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- You will lead on company-wide championing of customer voice, reporting on experience across the customer lifecycle
- Proactively identify new solutions to solve business problems, getting stakeholder buy-in on strategy
- Manage and launch an external program of community marketing events across priority markets, confidently engaging with clients face-to-face
- Develop and launch a product certification program, training a group of super-users to become product evangelists
- Orchestrate and analyze Customer Satisfaction surveys across the business to understand opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with Product, regional Marketing, Client Success and Sales teams to constantly enhance and optimize communications across the customer journey
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Passion for customer experience and engagement.
- A strategic mindset. You can simplify the complex, creating and executing brilliant plans to bring your vision to life.
- Data drives you. You'll be designing and analysing metrics and goals, transforming data into actionable insights.
- You’re a confident people-person who likes building relationships, is confident hosting events and thrives engaging with customers from a diverse range of backgrounds and sectors.
- Creating content excites you. From building client success narratives to crafting solution-led messaging, you've got the copywriting skills to bring data to life.
- You’re an expert juggler of projects and prioritization.
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- We’d love it if you’ve managed an online community before – if not, you should be excited by the idea and ready to demonstrate transferable skills.
- Designing functioning cross-functional frameworks to implement the voice of the customer, creating and maintaining processes and deliverables.
- Managing and reporting on Customer Satisfaction surveys.
- Experience owning an event-marketing series – if not, you should be a confident speaker, comfortable hosting events and engaging with clients.
