Customer Education Business Development Manager (German Speaker)

The team
The Customer Education Business Development Manager (CEBDM) will work with customers, partners and Account Team(s) to develop and deliver comprehensive, customized education solutions that enable successful implementation, adoption, and usage of Hitachi Vantara solutions. This includes understanding the customer’s business objectives and critical business issues and creating comprehensive training readiness solutions to support the customer’s proprietary business processes.
The role
As the single point of contact for Hitachi Vantara Education Services in their respective region(s), the CEBDM responsibilities have significant range across the entire customer lifecycle and organizations within Hitachi Vantara. This position will be responsible for:
- Managing business through forecasting, account strategy, and planning.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Education offerings for Customers, Partners and Employees.
- Participate in the development, presentation and sales of an education value proposition.
- Scope and negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
- Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.
- Creating Adoption, own and drive education services revenue in alignment with AOP targets.
What you’ll bring
- At least 2+ years of experience within a learning, education services, professional services, pre-sales, or IT consulting services provider organizations.
- Must be fluent in English and German; French language skills are an advantage.
- Proven evangelist ability to motivate account teams to take action and generate results.
- Intellectually curious and capable of quickly learning new solutions, technologies and understanding value delivered to various buyers.
- Proven networking skills and the ability to quickly establish credibility and create confidence with partners, customers and colleagues.
- Hands-on regional leader who exhibits a strong work ethic and collaborative management style by delving deeply into details to achieve wins.
- Knowledge of Hitachi Vantara and 3rd party technologies.
- Experience in writing detailed business/functional specifications documents.
- Proven ability to exercise good judgment and make sound business decisions with sparse data.
- Must have a proven track record of revenue attainment within an education services organization.
