The Customer & Trade Marketing Manager leads the strategy and execution of customer, retail and channel marketing across B2C, B2B and B2P audiences. The role drives sales, strengthens brand presence, and delivers best in class customer experiences across CRM, loyalty, retail environments and marketing automation.

Responsibilities

What you’ll lead

Retail & Channel Marketing

  • Shape and deliver the retail/channel strategy aligned with commercial and marketing priorities.
  • Use data, insights and sales performance to guide segmentation, investment and prioritisation.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, sales organisation and agencies to execute high‑impact retail programmes.
  • Lead retail learning & engagement to uplift capability across markets.
  • Ensure best‑practice sharing and consistent execution across the EMEA channel community.

Customer Engagement, CRM & Loyalty

  • Own the customer engagement vision across CRM, App and Community.
  • Develop lifecycle, retention and loyalty strategies for B2C, B2B and B2P.
  • Drive trigger‑based journeys, personalisation and continuous optimisation through data & analytics.
  • Manage CRM platforms and ensure strong KPI tracking for acquisition, retention and engagement.

B2B Marketing Automation & Lead Management

  • Build and execute the B2B marketing automation roadmap.
  • Strengthen lead capture, scoring, routing and qualification in close partnership with Sales, Digital and Operations.
  • Standardise lead management processes across markets and improve conversion through targeted automation.
  • Establish clear dashboards for lead performance, pipeline impact and ROI.

Marketing Automation & Martech

  • Own the marketing automation roadmap and evolve personalisation and lifecycle capabilities.
  • Improve platform integration, workflows and data activation across CRM, email builder, CDP and engagement tools.
  • Drive governance, best practices and adoption across teams and markets.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define a unified measurement framework for retail, CRM, engagement and channel activities.
  • Standardise KPIs and reporting in partnership with Analytics, DSO and Finance.
  • Establish a clear monthly/quarterly cadence with actionable insights for leadership.

Leadership & Partner Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of specialists.
  • Oversee agency relationships (CRM, creative, email‑builder and promotions), ensuring quality, value and performance.
  • Manage budgets across retail and customer engagement, ensuring ROI and commercial rigour.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships and ensure alignment to business priorities.

What you bring

  • Experience in customer, retail, channel or CRM/engagement marketing.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, loyalty, and/or B2B marketing automation.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into action.
  • Stakeholder management skills and proven cross‑functional leadership.
  • Commercial acumen, prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic programmes.

Salary: up to £68,186 (dependant on experience) plus 10% bonus potential
