What You Will Do As an OpenBlue CUPO Engineer, you will lead on-site project execution for Central Utility Plant Optimisation projects. From hardware design and system programming to installation coordination and network commissioning, you will ensure seamless project completion while maintaining customer satisfaction. You will also manage materials procurement, subcontractor coordination, and post-deployment support, ensuring all safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement installation hardware and software programming for Central Utility Plant projects.

  • Manage project materials, subcontractors, and vendor pricing.

  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure full system functionality.

  • Maintain project budgets, billings, and profitability goals.

  • Provide technical assistance and training to customers and subcontractors.

  • Develop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, and consultants.

  • Adhere to and enforce all safety standards on-site.

What We Are Looking For

  • A technical Associate’s Degree with three years of field experience, or five years of equivalent experience in the HVAC industry.

  • Hands-on experience in system design and commissioning of digital HVAC control systems.

  • Strong understanding of control theory and HVAC systems.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency in project accounting, costing principles, and contract management is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
