Join our global Digital Assets Operations team to manage daily trading activity across London and APAC. We welcome both experienced crypto professionals and derivatives operations specialists looking to transition into digital assets. This hands-on role suits those who thrive on detail and problem-solving in a fast-paced trading environment.

Your future role at QRT: 

  • Manage a small team of crypto trading operations analysts and associates split across London and APAC, providing responsive coverage for trading
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the crypto trading desk, including trade capture, reconciliation and issue resolution taking ownership for completion of tasks
  • Oversee and ensure timely settlement of transfers across exchanges and custodians
  • Contribute to the onboarding of external managers under SMA structures, as well as new exchanges, brokers and custodians — including KYC and infrastructure setup, working alongside the crypto COO
  • Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement improvements, including automation and workflow optimisation
  • Use programming tools (Python preferred) to streamline and automate reporting, reconciliations, exception handling and general operations tasks
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Trading, Tech, Risk, Compliance, Finance) to maintain robust post-trade workflows and controls
  • Contribute to the development of QRT’s operating model for crypto trading and external manager support
  • Work with the technology team to develop new tools and applications
  • Assist the crypto COO on a variety of projects and initiatives

Your present skillset:

  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 6+ years’ experience in either:
    • Crypto trading operations: experience supporting trading, covering OTC operations, onboarding of exchanges, and crypto trade settlement, OR
    • derivatives operations: strong understanding of trade capture, confirmation, lifecycle events, and related workflows for derivative markets
  • Understanding of derivative instruments and markets is essential
  • Comfortable working with data — ideally proficient in Python for automation
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of effective stakeholder management
  • Disciplined self-starter with a high degree of motivation
