Role: CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) Executive

Reporting to: CRO Manager

Location: THG HQ, 7-9 Sunbank Lane, Altrincham, WA15 0AF (Fully office based)

As a CRO Executive, you’ll:

  • Track customer experiences across online channels, devices, third-party tools, and payment types.
  • Collaborate with tech developers, as well as product, marketing, and trading teams, to enhance customer funnels and success metrics.
  • Align customer experience strategies with marketing initiatives and inform customers about new product features and functionalities.
  • Use customer data and competitor analysis to understand buying behaviours and maximise ROI.
  • Perform creative and AB tests to evaluate traffic distribution, user flow, and facilitate improvements.
  • Analyse customer interactions qualitatively and quantitatively, including calculating Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
  • Manage third parties effectively, document processes, and log technical issues alongside customer uplifts and challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and new CRO techniques and technologies.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • A bachelor’s degree in data, communications, maths/physics, business management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Interest or experience as a CRO specialist or in a similar customer success role.
  • Knowledge of online customer behaviour analysis and related platforms.
  • Experience in gathering and interpreting customer success information.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and CRO software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate results clearly and suggest actionable next steps for improvement.
