As our next Senior CRM Specialist, working directly in Braze, you’ll create, QA and launch campaigns across email, SMS, push and in-app channels. Every campaign you deliver helps people engage with our tools and get real value from Checkatrade.

You’ll also learn from experienced team members how to build automated journeys, apply data-driven marketing, and design lifecycle flows at scale. With curiosity and drive, this role can grow into a CRM Lead position. You’ll spend your time building campaigns in Braze, but you’ll also own the performance of those journeys, work closely with stakeholders, and find new ways to improve engagement.

Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

  • Building and launching CRM campaigns in Braze across email, SMS, push and in-app channels.

  • QA’ing campaigns to make sure everything works as expected and meets brand guidelines.

  • Building and maintaining lifecycle journeys like onboarding, engagement, upgrades and retention.

  • Running A/B tests and improving messaging, timing and channels based on results.

  • Managing campaign calendars and coordinating delivery with stakeholders.

  • Making sure data privacy, consent and compliance standards are always followed.

  • Developing your skills in automation, segmentation and personalisation.

  • Taking on more complex journeys over time and growing towards CRM Lead responsibilities.

It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:

  • Experience using a CRM or marketing automation tool. Braze is a bonus, but Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, Customer.io or similar all work.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach. You enjoy working closely with teammates, sharing ideas and spotting opportunities to improve.

  • Strong attention to detail. You take pride in clean builds, error-free campaigns and a polished customer experience.

  • A curiosity to grow your CRM toolkit, whether that’s automation, data, journey design or experimentation.

  • A sense of ownership. You don’t just press send. You care about the outcome and the impact.

We believe great work deserves great rewards. Here’s just a taste:

  • Competitive salary + annual bonus

  • Health, well-being and learning support

  • Gym membership, Smart Tech Scheme and Cycle Scheme

  • Birthday/Special day leave

  • Buy & sell holiday scheme

  • 1 week’s paid charity leave and much more!

How we’ll get to know each other:

  • Screening call with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners

  • 1st stage interview with our CRM Manager

  • 2nd stage interview will be a case study with our CRM Manager and VP, Trade

If this sounds like the place where you can do your best work, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box
