The Role

Riders are at the heart of Deliveroo, delighting millions of customers around the world by bringing restaurant food and groceries to their door. Our rider communications are vital in helping keep riders informed, in supporting them when they need a hand on an order, and in making Deliveroo the best source of flexible work.

Reporting to the Head of Rider Communication and CRM, this role is centred on the day-to-day execution, building, and deployment of CRM campaigns that reach over 150,000 riders across 8 countries.

Your primary focus will be on campaign building and execution, managing lifecycle journeys, and delivering a technical, hands-on contribution to our global CRM program. You are a detail-oriented, technical CRM marketer who is passionate about execution excellence and performance metrics. You will be instrumental in launching new ideas, channels, and campaigns based on data and inspiration.

You'll work closely with stakeholders at both a global and local level, maintaining strong relationships with Operations colleagues across all our markets and building trust to ensure compliance and quality comms.

What you'll be doing

  • You’ll be responsible for the technical creation/build, experimentation and reporting on Rider CRM campaigns.

  • Supporting with the general maintenance of our campaigns in our CRM tool, Braze

  • Offering technical guidance and carrying out quality assurance (QA) on campaign builds and automations for global CRM teams.

  • Creating campaigns that are meaningful to riders, using the right channels (email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and more) at the right time, with a positive business impact.

  • Putting Riders at the centre of campaign execution as a passionate and technical CRM marketer.

  • Enthusiastically monitoring metrics soon after sending a campaign.

  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders and bring data-informed ideas to new campaign kick-off meetings.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • 1-2 years of experience in CRM or Performance Marketing, with experience in building triggered CRM communications across email, push notifications and in-app messages

  • Some experience running AB tests and other experiments

  • Strong analytical skills, with a working understanding of statistics and statistical analysis techniques

  • Good business acumen, with a focus on understanding the right KPIs and metrics to deliver value

  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise competing tasks

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the globe, prioritise work effectively and juggle competing priorities

Preferred, but not required

  • Previous experience using Braze

  • Previous experience of using Looker
