Customer Value CRM Manager

We are seeking a dynamic CRM Manager to lead and elevate our CRM efforts within our in-house Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with Creative, Digital, E-commerce, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to drive growth and enhance the value of our Sainsbury’s Energy and EON Next customer base. You will be responsible for shaping CRM strategy to meet commercial objectives, managing a team of CRM campaign leads, and delivering measurable results.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic CRM Planning: Develop comprehensive CRM plans aligned with commercial goals, translating business objectives into actionable KPIs.

  • Data-Driven Campaign Management: Leverage data to optimise campaign performance, ensuring all CRM initiatives are aligned with strategic goals.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of CRM campaign leads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring CRM strategies support broader business objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with E-commerce, Digital, and other teams to enhance customer journeys and conversion rates.

  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards, supporting your team in reporting and optimization.

  • Quality Control & Automation: Implement robust quality control frameworks, have an immaculate eye for detail and explore automation opportunities to maximize CRM tool capabilities.

  • Brand Guardianship: Ensure all CRM communications align with our brand's tone of voice and values.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address potential blockers to timely campaign delivery, maintaining team autonomy and efficiency.
     

Are we the perfect match?

  • Team Leadership: Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team within a CRM or marketing environment.

  • Strategic Development: Proven ability to develop and execute CRM strategies, including campaign and customer journey strategies.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong experience in performance-driven campaigning, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Digital Proficiency: Experience with automated marketing software solutions and a strong understanding of digital marketing principles.

  • Creative Problem Solver: A proactive approach to challenges, with a willingness to think outside the box and innovate.

  • Operational Excellence: Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

It would be great if you had:

  • Energy Industry Experience: Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.

  • Start-Up/Sub-Brand Experience: Experience working with start-up brands or sub-brands is beneficial.

  • Growth Mindset: A desire to be part of a dynamic, growth-oriented culture where every week brings new challenges and opportunities.

  • Location – London - E.ON Next, 47-53 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 6PB - with travel to our other sites when required. 

  • Working environment: Flexible hybrid working – a blend of in the office and home working. 

  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays each year – this includes a guaranteed day off for your birthday if you want it. 

  • Generous pension scheme (you contribute 5%, we contribute 6%, increasing to 10% after 2 years).
