Are you someone who loves getting data right? Do you like problem solving and creating automated solutions? Do you have experience working with CRM systems and a real eye for detail, accuracy and data quality?

We're looking for a CRM and Data Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management and quality of our client and relationship data across Kinbrook Group. You'll be the person making sure our data is accurate, complete, well structured and genuinely useful to the business.

This is a behind-the-scenes role with a big impact. You'll work closely with our Marketing, Business Development and Communications team, IT and colleagues across the Group to identify issues, improve data quality and make sure our CRM supports better business development, marketing and commercial decision-making.

You don't need to have worked with our specific CRM, Intapp DealCloud, before. Experience of another CRM is much more important. What we're really looking for is someone who is methodical, analytical and driven by getting things right.

The Opportunity

As CRM and Data Manager, you'll take ownership of the quality and integrity of the data within our CRM. You'll become the go-to person for CRM queries and data issues, making sure information is captured correctly and that problems are identified and resolved rather than allowed to build up.

You'll spend your time looking at the detail, spotting missing information, duplicate or inconsistent records and finding ways to improve how data is captured and maintained. You'll also have the opportunity to improve processes, introduce greater automation and develop reporting that helps the wider business understand its clients, prospects and commercial activity.

As Kinbrook continues to grow, you'll also play a role in bringing together data from new businesses joining the Group, helping to cleanse, map and integrate information into our systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation and administration of our CRM
  • Taking ownership of data quality, accuracy and completeness across the system
  • Regularly reviewing data to identify missing fields, duplicates, errors and inconsistencies
  • Maintaining clear data standards and governance processes
  • Investigating and resolving CRM, data and workflow issues
  • Working with IT and technology partners where more complex system or integration issues arise
  • Maintaining CRM fields, workflows, lists, configurations and permissions
  • Improving how information is captured and maintained so that data is commercially useful
  • Enriching client and prospect information to improve reporting, segmentation and commercial insight
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting
  • Looking for opportunities to automate processes and improve how the CRM is used
  • Maintaining clear documentation around CRM processes, data definitions and standards
  • Supporting the integration and migration of CRM data when new businesses join Kinbrook
  • Working with colleagues across Marketing, Business Development, IT and the wider Group to improve data quality and use
  • Exploring opportunities to use AI and emerging technology to improve data enrichment, automation and insight

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with data and takes pride in getting things right.

You'll be highly organised and methodical, with a natural eye for spotting things that don't look right. You won't be someone who is happy to see a missing field, duplicate record or inconsistent piece of data and simply move on. You'll want to understand why it's happened, fix it and find a better way of preventing it happening again.

You'll also need to be comfortable working with people across the business, as improving data quality isn't just about fixing the system. It's about helping people understand what good data looks like and creating processes that make it easier to get it right.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Experience managing or administering a CRM system
  • Strong experience working with data and maintaining data quality
  • A highly analytical and detail-focused approach
  • Experience identifying errors, inconsistencies and gaps in data
  • Experience with CRM workflows, reporting and data structures
  • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experience of data cleansing, enrichment or migration
  • Experience investigating system or data issues and working with IT or external technology providers
  • An understanding of data governance and data protection principles
  • The ability to work methodically and take ownership of issues through to resolution
  • A practical and commercially minded approach to data
  • Experience with Intapp DealCloud would be beneficial, but isn't essential
  • Experience within professional services would be advantageous, but isn't essential

About Us

Kinbrook Group brings together a growing group of businesses, combining the expertise and strong client relationships of established businesses with the opportunities, technology and resources of a wider Group.

As we continue to grow, there are exciting opportunities to work across the Group and collaborate with colleagues in different businesses and locations. This role is not restricted to one office or geography, with the opportunity to work with teams across our South West, London and Midlands offices.

What You'll Get

You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of an important area of our growing Group. This isn't simply a role maintaining a CRM. You'll help shape how Kinbrook captures, manages and uses its commercial data as the Group continues to grow.

You'll work across different teams and businesses, gaining exposure to CRM, data, marketing, business development, technology and acquisitions. You'll also have the opportunity to improve processes, introduce automation and help us make better use of the information we already have.

If you're someone who spots the error that everyone else has missed, gets satisfaction from turning messy data into something useful and enjoys finding better ways of doing things, we'd love to hear from you.
