Join the Credit Strategy team to design and oversee the execution of credit strategies and capabilities for credit card acquisition and line management. As a UK Credit Cards Acquisition and Line Management Associate in our Credit Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing credit risk management strategies for our first Chase credit card product in the UK. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust credit controls and drive strategy optimization decisions. Your expertise in credit strategy, operations, and regulations will be key to managing credit risk exposure and supporting the growth of our portfolio.
Job responsibilities

  • Oversee credit granting decisions for credit card products, including analytics, strategy, and capabilities across creditworthiness, indebtedness, and affordability.
  • Partner with product owners to support customer acquisition and growth, leveraging new data sources like Open Banking and internal Chase data.
  • Understand and manage cross-functional dependencies to align product development with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance and operational risk mitigation in credit strategy processes, articulating risks and issues to business functions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analytics on credit strategy effectiveness and collaborate with the Modelling team to enhance risk management decisions.
  • Participate in Credit Forum and Risk Committees, providing updates on regulatory changes.
  • Ensure credit strategy implementation aligns with Change Governance and is well-documented for delivery partners.
