About the role:
As a Credit Controller you will be working in the Credit Control department and supporting other areas of the business. You will be required to perform efficient debt management, account reconciliation, analysis and collections as expected by the business.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Primarily responsible for the reconciliation, analysis and invoicing of accounts relating to insurance

Ensure timely collections of monies due whilst managing sales ledger accounts to remain within terms and credit limits

Investigate and resolve invoice queries and follow through to their conclusion.

Reconcile the Sales Ledger and Bordereau, allocating credits, cash, and journals
-
Demonstrate strict adherence to the debt recovery process, ensuring that all communication with customers is professional and executed with integrity

Actively demonstrate effective communication with all departments within the business

Active participation in and support given to ad hoc projects within the Department
-
Aid and support all members of the Department through a culture of teamwork and commitment

Perform other activities and tasks as requested by management which are deemed necessary to the success of the role

Perform appropriate obligations to resolve queries and escalate issues to the appropriate department if necessary

Investigate claims to ensure correct designation on the Bordereau

Provide details surrounding aging debts to enable the creation of the bad and doubtful debt provisions

Uphold the companies’ policies and procedures

Respect the value of information by following Likewize's data protection / information security policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will need:

A proactive approach to work with excellent attention to detail, communication and team working skills

Experience working within a Credit Control role

Good Excel skills including knowledge of SUM’s and IF’s
-
Must be trustworthy and competent dealing with material of a confidential nature

Able to demonstrate integrity towards their approach to work, ensuring that the interests of both the company and the customers are met

Good organisational skills and can prioritise their workload, to ensure deadlines are met or completed ahead of schedule

Understand the impact the role can have on others and the business

Demonstrate a reliable and flexible approach to all situations
