At Peak21, we specialize in acquiring large direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands across the United States, Europe, and Asia, in addition to incubating our own. With a portfolio of D2C brands generating $200 million in sales, all bootstrapped and profitable, we are dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in the D2C sector. 

We are seeking a Creative Strategist to join one of our portfolio brands which is a well-known 100 million dollar brand in the D2C space. 

The role 

The Creative Strategist's role will revolve around the question: "What makes a winning ad?" You will work collaboratively with other team members to create top-performing ads, set strategic direction for ad creation, and ultimately, grow revenue. The perfect candidate is someone who is digitally native, consumer-centric, intellectually curious, and creative. 

The position is full-time in London.

What You'll Do

  • Constantly ideate new ad concepts and create briefs for these to be turned into ads by other team members
  • Create ads yourself
  • Write copy for ads
  • Upload ads to advertising platforms
  • Review ad performance data to see what's working and what's not, and turn this into actionable creative insights
  • Identify top performing concepts and manage the production of variations and iterations to scale them
  • Stay current with what other leading brands are doing in their paid ads

Who You Are

  • Fluent English speaker
  • You’re an avid social media user and have a strong passion for digital brand building
  • You have a customer-centric mindset, which translates into you understanding what kind of marketing is likely to be effective for our target customer
  • You're a strong writer and can write effective marketing copy
  • You have solid analytical skills and can interpret numbers and recognize patterns
  • You take initiative 
  • You’re coachable and dedicated to continuous personal improvement
  • You’re tech literate and can learn new software with ease
  • You thrive in a high growth environment and enjoy a startup team culture
  • You are intellectually curious and eager to learn

We don't require previous experience in digital marketing for this role. We can teach you the tools of the trade. What's important is that you have the fundamental skills (customer mindset, writing, analytical skills) and attitude (a willingness to learn and eagerness to make winning ads)!
