At BAD Marketing, we are looking for a highly creative and results-driven Amazon Creative Strategist to lead the visual direction for our Amazon clients. This role is pivotal in developing high-quality creative assets that drive engagement, conversions, and long-term brand success on Amazon.

Purpose:

To drive engagement and conversions on Amazon through innovative and brand-aligned creative assets.

Core Functions:

  • Learn and understand each client’s branding needs and guidelines during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure all creative assets meet branding guidelines before implementation and deliverable approval.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) on all graphics to guarantee client satisfaction and adherence to guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest Amazon trends and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead and mentor the graphic design team on best practices for Amazon design and strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities:Creative Leadership and Direction

  • Lead and mentor the Graphic Design team to produce high-quality, visually appealing, and brand-aligned creative assets, including:
    • Main Images, Product Images, A+ Content, Amazon Storefronts, Sponsored Brand & Video Creatives, and Amazon Posts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Amazon design specifications and conversion-driving elements.

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Review and approve all creative deliverables to ensure they adhere to:
    • Amazon’s guidelines and specifications.
    • Client branding and design standards.
    • Key performance metrics (CTR, CVR, etc.) for optimized performance.
  • Deliver high-quality assets that "wow" the client and elevate their Amazon presence.

Client Goal & Branding Alignment

  • Partner with the Account Manager and SEO Strategist during onboarding to understand the client’s brand, vision, and guidelines.
  • Develop a creative strategy that aligns with client goals, and ensure this vision is communicated clearly to the internal team.
  • Present the initial deliverables to clients, incorporating their feedback into future creative direction.

Stay Current with Amazon Strategies

  • Regularly participate in Amazon forums, Facebook groups, Reddit, and explore successful seller strategies to stay updated on trends.
  • Split-test and experiment with new tactics to continuously refine creative strategies.

Team Strategy and Knowledge Sharing

  • Lead monthly Graphic Design knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the development of new SOPs.
  • Train and educate the team on the latest Amazon creative tactics and best practices.

Client Performance Monitoring

  • Regularly review client listings to ensure branding guidelines are followed and content is driving conversions.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to the graphic design team to enhance the creative output and achieve key performance metrics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Click-Through-Rate (CTR) for creative assets – Target: 90% of listings achieving a higher CTR for their main image.
  • Conversion Rate (CVR) improvement – Target: 90% of listings achieving a higher Conversion Rate.
  • Internal Knowledge Sharing – Lead at least 1 knowledge-sharing session per month.
  • Client Satisfaction – Ensure that all creative work meets client expectations and exceeds quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, design, and content production, with a strong focus on Amazon.
    • Proven track record of driving conversion and engagement on Amazon through creative assets.
    • Experience leading and mentoring a creative team to deliver high-performance content.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in Amazon's design specifications, including A+ Content, product images, and storefronts.
    • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
    • Strong knowledge of e-commerce conversion strategies and metrics (CTR, CVR).
    • Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven design.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
    • Highly organized with a proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
