The Creative Designer will be part of a diverse and cross-functional team whose work positively impacts the lives of millions of people – inspiring them to learn together with Busuu.
You will be responsible for creating thoughtful designs that increase engagement and conversion metrics. You will also play an important role in the efficiency and quality of our creative output, ensuring that the highest standards are continually met.

What does a Creative Designer do at Busuu?
Work independently and hands-on in day-to-day projects by crafting the highest quality designs and rolling out assets.
Work across the full marketing funnel, collaborating with colleagues to craft designs that have impact wherever our learners come into contact with them – including emails, social media, web and app stores.
Apply creativity and commercial acumen to deliver solutions to briefs, both in terms of ideation and resource management.
Contribute to the ongoing success of campaigns by executing creative solutions that engage our audiences and lead to conversions.
Make thoughtful recommendations for improvements within the team’s creative processes and workflows.
Report to the Lead Creative Designer supporting in developing hypotheses on how design can impact our campaigns and drive production.
Work effectively and cross-functionally across the Marketing, Product and Education team, demonstrating a clear grasp of stakeholder management and showing a data-led approach to the design solutions you propose.
Work with the rest of the business to understand and drive OKRs by providing creative solutions that demonstrate impact.
What we’re looking for in a Creative Designer
3+ years experience working across design solutions, in-house or agency side
Have a strong portfolio of work presenting design in a clear and engaging manner
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
Proven experience of working on campaign driven projects and designing for online or digital ads
Demonstrable experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to deliver creative value for the business
Confidence to execute creative design across numerous projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain design decision making processes
Experience using Jira or another ticketing system to manage workflow would be a benefit but not essential
Passion for language education and digital learning is always a plus
