Country Manager (UK&I)

Why this role matters;
The Country Manager at Vonage is responsible for leading and managing the company's operations within a specific geographical region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and business acumen to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. 

The Country Manager ensures that Vonage’s objectives align with local market conditions, customer needs, and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong connection between the headquarters and the local team.  

We are looking for a strong Sales leader with a deep understanding of the UK&I markets to support our growth plans through this year and beyond. This is a great opportunity for someone to come and take accountability of a key and critical market for Vonage.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market expansion in the country.
  • Ensure alignment of company objectives with local market conditions, customer preferences, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee sales and marketing strategies to optimize revenue and market penetration.
  • Manage and monitor budgets, revenue streams, and expenses to achieve financial targets
  • Lead and develop a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Act as a liaison between the local team and the headquarters, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on key initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulatory bodies, and industry influencers.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold corporate integrity and reputation.
  • Represent Vonage at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.

What you will bring;

  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in CPaaS, Telecommunications, or SaaS industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business development skills with a track record of driving growth.
  • Deep understanding of the UK&I market and landscape
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • In-depth understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
