KBR is seeking an Associate Cost Control Specialist to join our Project Controls team in Leatherhead. 

 

The Role

Working within our Project Controls function, you will support the delivery of cost control activities across a range of projects. Under supervision, you’ll contribute to cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, while developing your skills across broader cost and estimating disciplines.

 

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity where you’ll gain exposure to complex, high-value projects and build a strong foundation in project cost management.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the forecasting, control and reporting of project costs
  • Assist in the preparation of cost reports, including variances and trend analysis
  • Analyse project expenditures and help forecast future costs
  • Review costs across categories including labour, materials and subcontractors
  • Contribute to risk analysis and cost performance reporting
  • Assist senior team members with larger and more complex assignments
  • Develop core project controls competencies by applying established processes and tools
About You

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical ability, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

  • Some experience in a cost, finance, or analytical role (project environment beneficial but not essential)
  • Basic understanding of cost control principles or financial analysis
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
