About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

We are looking to hire an experienced Corporate Relations Senior Advisor to join our global centre of excellence in Communications and Corporate Affairs.

You will provide both strategic and hands-on support, helping to deliver best-in-class media relations, robust crisis communications, and transparent, high-impact corporate reporting. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a highly collaborative, diverse and people-focused environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Advise office and practice groups on proactive media relations, media enquiries and sensitive reputational issues.
  • Design and deliver global and high-profile media campaigns, ensuring Linklaters is consistently represented across jurisdictions.
  • Serve as a hands-on coordinator and first responder in crisis or reputational risk incidents.
  • Oversee and coordinate stages of major corporate reporting (such as annual and sustainability reports) with accuracy, compliance and brand alignment.
  • Draft and edit press releases, external statements and key communications for public and regulatory review.
  • Monitor global media coverage and reputational risks, providing analytics and briefings to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to global policies, frameworks and best-practice resources in media and crisis communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, agencies and sector bodies.
  • Identify improvements and opportunities for greater impact across the corporate relations centre of excellence.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in media relations, crisis management or corporate reporting, gained within an international and complex setting – ideally professional services or a regulated sector.
  • Demonstrated responsibility handling sensitive media issues and delivering high-quality reporting content.
  • Experience working in or advising cross-functional, multinational teams and senior leaders.
  • Skilled in managing press enquiries and tactical crisis response under deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to distil complex topics clearly.
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to operational detail and data analysis.
  • Confident using analytics and digital monitoring tools.
  • Culturally aware, proactive, organised and resilient.
  • Commitment to collaboration, mentoring and continuous improvement.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
