Job Description

As a Corporate Finance Project Manager, you will form part of the Group Financial Reporting Team with a reporting line into the Group Corporate Finance team which encompasses Tax and Treasury.

You will lead on a variety of projects which are key to the Group Financial Reporting Team, Corporate Finance Team or wider business. You will largely focus on the need to either optimize the Corporate Structure, rationalising after acquisitions, or to manage risks / regulatory obligations.

As a highly visible team to senior finance management, and you should expect to be involved in regular reporting to the Global Management and CFO on the status of projects.

You will be a critical part of the team, working across multiple projects. You will engage with other parts of the business including Finance, Corporate Secretariat, Legal, Corporate Development and overseas Finance teams to obtain the information and insights needed to allow delivery on allocated projects. This is a diverse role for someone with a strong background in Corporate Projects to play an important part in the Group Corporate Finance team at Experian.

We are a performing team, supporting on multiple high priority and high value projects. We are looking for a motivated individual to support on some critical project work which has a broad remit across the corporate functions, and is outside the daily workload being managed by the current team.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified with an appropriate professional qualification (ACA etc.).
  • Experience working in a corporate/global environment and proven leadership of cross border projects in a matrix environment.
  • Experience across a variety of Corporate Projects and with knowledge of corporate specialisms such as Company Secretariat, Finance, Tax, Legal and the ability to work with specialists in each of these areas.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To succeed in the role you will need to be able to problem-solve, demonstrate the right level of professional scepticism and an ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts in the friendly world of Experian.
