Our Corporate practice advises clients on their most significant and complex corporate transactions globally. Given the critical importance of due diligence (“DD”) on these transactions, we are looking for an experienced lawyer to lead our DD delivery team in London, set up to drive efficiencies in the way we deliver DD by leveraging technology and streamlining ways of working, with the ambition of delivering the best DD product on the market.

The role

You will be based in our London Corporate practice working as part of the firm's wider DD centre of excellence (which includes team members based across Europe).  You will influence the way we deliver DD by helping design and deliver a focused strategy and to support on all aspects of DD delivery, from the creation/refreshing of standard operating processes, and report design, to the interweaving of technology into the broader DD process. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage due diligence (DD) processes for M&A and Private Equity transactions, including training, problem-solving, and technological platform rollout.

  • Build stakeholder relationships to promote DD, support ReportiQ alignment (our next-generation DD management platform), and handle queries.

  • Collaborate on ReportiQ user guides, marketing, and language libraries, coordinate onboarding and feature testing.

  • Support the training and development of the practice’s paralegal team.

  • Present DD and ReportiQ initiatives to clients, including pitch demos.

About you

You will have:

  • At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE) working on global M&A transactions, with deep experience conducting (and leading processes for) due diligence within a corporate team in the London market. Ideally, you will already be familiar with Wizdocs or similar reporting platforms.

  • Alongside strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and an aptitude for technology, you will have the ability to influence stakeholders and be capable of adapting to changing priorities.
