About this role in the team:
We’re hiring a Corporate Development and Finance Associate to join our growing team. This is a high-impact role, working directly with the SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development and cross-functionally with FP&A, Product, Legal and GTM teams.
You’ll help shape BVNK’s growth strategy, supporting on M&A, market intelligence, investor materials, and strategic benchmarking. You’ll be at the centre of major strategic decisions, helping BVNK scale effectively while navigating a fast-changing fintech and digital assets landscape.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy
- Owning a corporate development/M&A strategy and framework
- Aligning M&A strategy with organic growth capabilities, working closely cross function
- Developing opportunities to fast track company wide growth targets through strategic M&A
- In depth global market research, competitor research and trend analysis
- Develop regular strategic insights via research and M&A efforts to provide structured feedback to business stakeholders across exec, banking, product, commercial
- Build investment cases for potential acquisition targets, including conducting due diligence and deal negotiation
Listing Project (longer term)
- Investigation of longer term Listing options
- Clear identification of gaps across Finance, reporting compliance, corporate governance etc and uplifts required
- Clear communication on timelines for remediation, capacity requirements
Financial modeling
- Maintaining and enhancing the Long term forecast / Investment model (up to date on a monthly basis to incorporate latest growth metrics, products and strategy)
- Working with Product managers to build out new product models and integrate into our group model along with understanding key revenue drivers, investment sizing & ROI / Paybac
Investment Reporting
- Ensuring we maintain and enhance all financial investment based reporting to best practice standards
- Preparing investor materials, presentations and updates, aligned to corporate strategy
- Working closely with investment advisors to prepare investment materials, data rooms and facilitate Due Diligence processes
Valuations & ESOP Liquidity
- Maintaining Valuation models based on industry comparatives, historic capital raise metrics and recent industry insights
- Building a Liquidity program for ESOP participants.
What we need from you:
We’re looking for someone ambitious, analytical, and passionate about the fintech and crypto space.
4–6 years’ experience in one of the following areas:
- Late-stage venture capital or growth equity, with a fintech focus
- Investment banking (Fintech / Crypto coverage ideal)
- Corporate development or strategy at a late stage fintech, crypto or payments company
Must have:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, experience producing board/investor materials is a plus
- Genuine interest in payments, stablecoins and digital assets
