VSI works across a wide range of media sectors from streaming platforms, traditional broadcast television, theatrical releases and gaming. 

This role sits between our Marketing and People & Culture teams. Its key purpose is to enhance employee engagement – coordinating and running local events in the Group headquarters, whilst supporting the company to build a sense of togetherness across all markets through effective communication.


What you’ll do:

Group priorities:

  • Maintain the corporate communications plan and prepare copy for internal distribution across the Group and London HQ, in collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • Compile the weekly Industry Round Up of key news articles impacting our industry to be shared with the management teams across our global locations.
  • Work collaboratively with People & Culture and Marketing to promote and enhance our employer branding through campaigns for our social channels, company website or internal activities.
  • Source appropriate client gifts and promotional merchandise for the company in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Maintain a consistent content pipeline for the VSI Hub, owning the editorial calendar for internal campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and visibility across key departments.
  • Evolve the newsletter to have more real time content pieces whilst still sharing stories and building a sense of togetherness across 24 markets.
  • Increase volume of communications from key departments and provide updates on strategic initiatives across the Group.
  • Oversee governance and continuous improvement of the VSI intranet, including analytics, user experience, and content strategy.
  • Expand initiatives into broader engagement programmes.
  • Establish KPIs for internal communications and engagement, using tools like Visme and SharePoint analytics and report regularly on impact whilst recommending data-driven improvements.
  • Support marketing in the organisation and execution of client events from ideation through to final delivery.

London HQ priorities:

  • Plan all internal events for the London HQ, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. These events typically include: monthly breakfast club, Christmas party, Summer party, fun runs/charity runs.
  • Develop links with local charities to build volunteering initiatives for our employees and coordinate all charity-related activities (e.g. donations and volunteer days with our Office Management team).
  • Coordinate the London Social Committee to inform future events and people initiatives.
  • Coordinate the Engagement Committee with support from People & Culture.
  • General ad-hoc team admin as required.
  • Coordinate internal presentations and other branded assets for meetings and as required (compilation and formatting).

You’ll bring:

Experience & skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • An interest in cultivating and planning company events.
  • An eye for brand identity and some experience working in marketing or marketing related qualifications.
  • Proficient in Canva, with the ability to confidently design and produce high-quality marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Experience managing and updating a website or intranet, including content uploads, and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Skilled in formatting and enhancing PowerPoint presentations, ensuring professional, visually engaging, and brand-consistent outputs.
  • Solid understanding of email marketing principles, with hands-on experience using Mailchimp to create, schedule, and analyse campaigns.
  • Driven to connect people and a keen interest in people engagement.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
