Role overview:

We’re hiring an experienced copywriter to join our growing marketing team and help tell the story of one of the world’s most dynamic paytech and fintech brands – Planet.
Reporting to our Editorial and Reputation Lead, you’ll create clear, engaging copy for press releases, social media, and employee communications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency.
What you will do:
Storytelling:
Create clear, accurate, compelling copy and assets to bring to life the essence of Planet for our customers, partners, and our internal team around the world.
Support with writing press releases, articles, social media posts, and internal and external announcements in a consistent brand tone of voice.
Internal Communications:
Help build and maintain employee pride and engagement through internal channels including intranet, round tables, town halls and change communications.
Streamline messaging to reduce “noise” and improve clarity during business transformation efforts.
External Communications:
Contribute to PR activities, including media monitoring and drafting thought leadership in a variety of formats for different audiences.
Assist with sensitive customer communications and governance processes for high-risk messaging.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing, HR, Product, Operations and Commercial teams to hone consistent messaging across all channels.
Liaise with legal and compliance teams for approvals on sensitive communications.
Measurement & Reporting:
Track engagement metrics for internal campaigns and media coverage for external comms.
Prepare summary reports for leadership on communication effectiveness.
What you will do:
5+ years’ experience copywriting in English. (Priority for those with fintech, payments SaaS or technology experience working in a regulated environment).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. (Please include links to three examples of your published work.)
Ability to adapt tone for different audiences (employees, customers, media).
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and great stakeholder management.
Familiarity with digital communication tools (SharePoint, Teams, social platforms).
