About the Role:
As a member of the HR team, the Coordinator II supports candidates, new and current employees, and the various HR teams, including HR Operations, Talent Acquisitions and Talent Management, with day-to-day activities related to guidelines, workflows and approvals. This position will respond to employee and third-party employment inquiries and gathers data for and support various HR projects. Responsibilities may include a multitude of activities in any of the areas such as screen resumes and applications, prepare termination packets, maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting, write position descriptions, and order benefit brochures and employee handbooks and other functional items. May participate in and/or conduct research and analyze data for assigned projects, as directed. May assist in the overall execution of compensation objectives, manpower goals, performance management, and general HR policies and procedures.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
Program Support, may:
-
Coordinate interview scheduling, travel, and expense management for candidates
-
Coordinate the relocation of new employees, including expense tracking, triage issues/questions and supporting the communication with the vendor
-
Coordinate insurance carrier billing and reconciliation
-
Administer day-to-day activities related to the recognition and other company-wide programs
-
Support the administration of the Company’s Safe Driver program, including coordinating annual MVR checks and follow up for certain employees
-
Conducts background checks and screens, drafting of offer letters
-
Supports affirmative actions initiatives
-
Coordinate new hire orientation and on boarding program
Compliance, may:
-
Assist HR Compliance Administrator with tracking of programs in the Company’s Learning Management System (LMS), such as harassment training, new hire training administration, and related follow up
-
Coordinate the accumulation of and administration of compliance poster per federal, state, or local guidelines, and posting in LMS or Company’s intranet
-
Respond to DOL, state and other government surveys and data requests
-
Be responsible for ensuring company policies are followed in the application process within the company applicant tracking system (ATS)
-
Coordinate federal, state and insurance carrier worker’s compensation reporting
Data Management, may:
-
Create, maintain, update, store and secure employee records, including converting records to e-copies (i.e., employee benefits documentation)
-
Assist in organizing and maintaining data/file storage on HR’s shared drive
-
For non-automated processes, update HCM database records and process paperwork related to new hires, terminations and other status changes as needed
-
Support administration of Contingent Workforce (CW), including tracking, processing filing and status determination of CWs
-
Gather, monitor and validate HCM data, including troubleshooting and running reports
Other HR Responsibilities, may:

Employee benefits/insurance

Answer Open Enrollment/system questions

Processing life event changes/leaves of absence

401k and HSAs rollovers

EDD disability claims

Coordinate employee events and activities

Assist with administrative tasks as needed and act as backup to other HR Coordinators as needed

Requirements:
-
Diploma / Associates degree in Human Resources or related
field and 2+ years of Human Resources or related experience OR
-
BA/BS in Human Resources or related
field and some related experience

Uses established skills to perform a range of routine to moderately complex daily operations

Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks

Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives

Ability to efficiently assist with to projects within appropriate deadlines

Exceptional ability to work under tight timelines, to deal with ambiguity and to effectively complete multiple tasks concurrently

Requires strong organizational, accuracy, detail-oriented, analytical and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially via email, in-person and on the phone

Ability to build proficient working relationships across multiple functions and with company leaders

Requires interpersonal, communication and organization skills including a good sense of judgment

Has general knowledge for HR programs, disciplines, and processes, and the company's guidelines

Must be proficient with computer applications to include MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Basic knowledge of employee database systems is preferred
