The Opportunity
We are seeking an Interim COO / Operations Director on a 3-month rolling contract (part-time/fractional). This is a hands-on leadership role, partnering directly with the CEO, to design and implement scalable operations that will power the next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead European logistics rollout: select and negotiate with 3PL providers, ensuring optimal service, cost, and reliability.
- Design efficient EU inventory flows and fulfilment processes that meet consumer demand and wholesale partnerships.
- Establish and implement operational SLAs and compliance frameworks for cosmetics distribution.
- Build scalable systems and processes that balance quality, cost control, and growth readiness.
- Partner with leadership to ensure operations are fully aligned with the brand’s expansion and commercial goals.
About You
- Proven track record as COO / Operations Director in beauty, cosmetics, consumer goods, or closely related D2C/B2B industries.
- Strong expertise in international logistics, supply chain, and distribution – ideally within the EU market.
- Experience scaling consumer brands across multiple countries and managing outsourced 3PL partners.
- Strategic yet hands-on operator, able to design processes and also roll up sleeves to execute.
- Collaborative, commercially astute, and excited to support a visionary founder-led brand.
Contract & Rewards
- Part-time / Fractional (1 day per week during the phase 1 analysis, design, planning phase for a few months, then 2-3 days a week to implement and lead the plan as Interim COO)
- 3-6 month rolling contract with potential extension
- Competitive day rate / monthly retainer
- May be offered full time in 6+ months (optional)
