Role Scope:

At Alpha, the COO (Ian Walsh) sits on the Board and Group Executive, working with the CEO and CFO to oversee commercial performance, corporate development, value creation and business services

This is a newly created role acting as the business manager for the COO working closely with him to help deliver the commercial and transformational agenda

Please see below an outline of the responsibilities of the role as well as the requirements.

  • Partner closely with the COO to drive strategic goals
  • Providing day-to-day analytical and material production support to the COO
  • Directly supporting a range of commercial and operational projects
  • Liaising with the full range of global Alpha leadership as needed
  • Working closely with Business Services directors as needed
  • Supporting group-wide communications

 

Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):

  • Candidate should have ‘hard skills’ in problem-solving, analysis, synthesis and written communication
  • Candidate should have ‘soft skills’ in orchestration, stakeholder management and verbal communication
  • Candidate should have passion for a transformational journey, with some day-to-day flexibility as needed
  • 5+ years of consulting background preferred, e.g. from MBBs or Big 4
  • London location strongly preferred
  • Competitive remuneration package to be based upon experience
  • This is a hybrid role requiring circa 3 days per week in our London office
