About the team:

You will be joining our growing Conversational AI team. As part of our international expansion strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing loveholidays as a leading brand in the Dutch market by crafting engaging and effective conversational experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The impact you’ll have:

The Conversational Designer will be essential in shaping our customer interactions in the Dutch market. This role is central to our strategy of delivering personalised, intuitive conversational experiences that help Dutch customers finding and managing their perfect getaway whilst building trust and loyalty in our brand.
Your day-to-day:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Dutch conversational flows for chatbots and voice assistants using Google Dialogflow.

  • Craft natural, culturally relevant Dutch dialogue that reflects local communication styles.

  • Conduct user research and testing to ensure effective and engaging Dutch user experiences.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to align with business goals and address Dutch customer needs.

  • Analyse conversational data, monitor performance metrics and user feedback to continuously optimise Dutch conversational performance and user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date with latest conversational design trends and best practices to innovate whilst also contributing to development of global design standards.

Your skillset:

  • Native or near-native Dutch language fluency with strong English language communication skills both written and verbal, understanding Dutch cultural nuances and communication preferences.

  • Proven experience in conversational design and hands-on use of Google Dialogflow or similar platform with an understanding of natural language processing principles and conversational ai capabilities.

  • Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing for conversational interfaces.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities, with experience in agile environments and ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance user needs with business objectives.

  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating user friendly conversational experiences, and a proactive, independent work ethic.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with other languages relevant to our target markets (Polish, French)

  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector, including customer behaviour and seasonal trends

  • Experience with other conversational AI platforms or natural language processing (NLP) tools

  • Background in linguistics, psychology, or human-computer interaction

  • Experience with voice user interface (VUI) design
