As a Autonomous  Systems (AS) Controller Service Engineer, a key member of our Project Engineering team within the Mobile Infrastructure Project Delivery organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting Nokia's 2G and 3G controller products and legacy controller products mainly in Armenia and also across Europe. Your work will involve technical support, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting activities, ensuring optimal performance of our RAN controller products. The collaborative environment encourages open communication with customers, project managers and engineering teams, all dedicated to delivering innovative solutions. With opportunities for hands-on experience in both lab and live environments, you will enhance your expertise while contributing to projects. As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will face exciting challenges, allowing you to engage directly with our customers and help shape the future of wireless mobility networks.
 

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Nokia RAN controller products mainly for Armenia customers, with possibility to support other European projects when needed.
  • Perform commissioning, integration, and acceptance testing of RAN controller systems in diverse environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Nokia RAN controller technologies.
  • Perform software updates, upgrades, and hardware extensions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Execute trials and implement new features in both lab and live environments.
  • Participate in 24/7 emergency support rota, providing on-site and remote assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, project managers, technical managers, and engineering teams to drive project success.
     
Qualifications

You have:

  • BSc degree in Telecommunications or relevant fields
  • 3+ years experience in technical support for Nokia RAN controller products
  • Strong commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting skills for Nokia RAN controller products
  • Good knowledge of IP technologies
  • Experience with software updates, upgrades, and hardware extensions
  • Familiarity with new feature implementations in lab and live environments
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages
