JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Role

This role is responsible for planning, contracting, and managing supplier relationships and ensuring the company has the best commercial conditions.

Accountabilities

  • Achieve sales targets and operating margins.
  • Achieve override and marketing contribution targets.
  • Negotiate best rates with all suppliers to remain competitive.
  • Meet contracting targets as per definition provided by Regional Contracting Manager.

Key Challenges

  • Negotiating the most competitive deals and maximizing operating margin
  • Dealing with Suppliers in destinations in situ, via phone and email
  • Implement Product Strategy and develop it as per planification performed with the regional manager in order to effectively drive to company desired targets
  • Keeping abreast of product and market developments in destinations
  • Ensuring you maximize override performance without high-risk targets
  • Identifying and negotiating marketing activities to maximize marketing contribution return
  • Managing supplier services levels and ensuring they adhere to all company regulations
  • Communicating regularly with worldwide sales teams on product developments
  • Finding new and creative ways to set us apart from our competition
