About the role: 

We are seeking an AI Engineer who is experienced in applying AI to solve real-world problems and has a proven track record of bringing AI applications to production. This individual should be comfortable working with technical complexity, building reusable AI components and systems, and pioneering best practices to boost quality and productivity. Demonstrating a deep mastery of AI, the candidate should be able to handle large technology teams and crucial product areas.

Your contribution will be:  

  • Design and implement complex AI/ML algorithms to solve novel problems, with an emphasis on bringing these solutions to production.
  • Advise on performance and resource utilization issues related to AI/ML.
  • Regularly meet with Engineering and Product Management to project and define future AI requirements.
  • Build complex predictive models to make observations and drive future strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated with developing AI technologies, assess their applicability to our company, and suggest appropriate training and tools to management.
  • Modify and improve code outside of the existing architecture patterns, aligning them with the relevant company and Product standards.
  • Triage and debug production issues independently.
  • Write automated unit and end-to-end tests to vet your code.
  • Provide clear and actionable technical feedback to the team for pull requests and peer reviews. 

To be successful, we think you need:  

  • 5+ years of experience in data science and data engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and major libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, NumPy, TensorFlow, etc.
  • Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines using Docker, RabbitMQ, and SQLite.
  • Experience taking AI models into production
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
