We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our Contract Management team in UK.  The successful candidate will be responsible for, among other things, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including NDAs, statements of work, software licenses, data licenses, and master agreements, reviewing customer and other third-party terms including supporting the RFP process, maintaining contracts to ensure accurate and compliant contract records and building trusted relationships and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • 7+ years of relevant working experience in similar roles

  • 3+ years of contract management experience and a good level of understanding of contract and commercial law

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience negotiating legal terms & conditions, preferably for data or software solutions

  • Proficient in English

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Experience working in an international corporate environment

  • Experience with order processing systems, and CRM/CLM tools such as Salesforce or Conga preferred

  • Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing, including IAACM or similar certification, desirable

  • Proficient in use of MS Office - particularly advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Manages end-to-end contract negotiation for complex agreements, including SaaS licenses, master services agreements, and statements of work. 

  • Serves as the primary liaison for contract-related inquiries, coordinating with Compliance, Sales, Product, and Legal for guidance. 

  • Develops creative solutions to address negotiation challenges, collaborating with internal attorneys to safeguard business interests. 

  • Reviews and assesses customer-supplied documents, proactively identifying and mitigating risks in contractual language. 

  • Oversees approval processes for non-standard terms, ensuring alignment with legal and corporate standards. 

  • Drives the continuous improvement of contract management processes, implementing enhancements in digital CLM, CRM, and other contract systems. 

  • Leads cross-functional efforts to align contract processes with business objectives, partnering with Sales, Operations, and Finance to streamline operations. 

About the Team   

  • This will be a global role reporting into the Senior Manager, Contracts as part of a legal function of around 70 colleagues

Hours of Work  

This is a full-time 1 year fixed-term contract position based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our London office (2 days per week in office, rest of week remote).

This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
