Logistics UK, formerly the Freight Transport Association is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, representing the entire industry with members from the road, rail, sea, and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.

An effective supply chain is vital to Keep Britain Trading, directly impacting over 7 million people employed in making, selling and moving the goods that affect everyone everywhere. With Brexit, technology and other disruptive forces driving changes in the way goods move across borders and through the supply chain, logistics has never been more important to UK PLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own It: Take the lead in managing a portfolio of key Tacho contracts, ensuring members benefit from the full value of Logistics UK’s offerings.
  • Analyse & Act: Use Vision Dashboards to present compliance insights and help drive better results for our members.
  • Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with our Tacho operations team to meet contract commitments and exceed expectations.
  • Build Relationships: Host regular review meetings with stakeholders, delivering updates both in-person and via Teams.
  • Innovate: Audit existing contracts, spot opportunities for growth, and recommend solutions to strengthen customer partnerships.
  • Advise & Support: Share your expertise to shape the future of Tacho products, assist in tender applications, and stay ahead of market trends.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Knowledge of drivers' hours legislation and Tacho compliance management is preferred but not essential.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organised & Driven: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with data analysis tools and technology.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive approach to identifying and delivering innovative solutions.

This exciting field-based role requires a full UK driver’s license and a willingness to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays. While we are particularly interested in candidates based in the South East, South West, Wales, or the Midlands, we are open to hearing from outstanding applicants wherever they are located.
