Sinch is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our marketing team. This role focuses on creating educational, informational, and product-intent content that supports our search engine optimization and content marketing efforts. You’ll begin by focusing on content for Mailgun, Sinch's email API and SMTP platform.
This role is pivotal to increasing the velocity of content publishing, refreshing existing assets, and achieving organic growth goals. The ideal candidate will excel at writing for technical audiences, specifically developers, and have a passion for creating high-quality, strategic content that drives measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product marketers, SEO experts, and strategists to align content with brand messaging and strategic goals.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to develop highly technical and accurate content, including code snippets and detailed explanations where applicable.
- Write top-of-funnel educational content and bottom-of-funnel product-intent content to drive search rankings, product signups, and sales inquiries.
- Update existing content to improve quality, relevance, and search engine performance.
- Collaborate with designers to create purposeful visuals that complement written content.
- Accelerate content publishing to maximize opportunities for improving search engine rankings.
- Maintain a results-driven approach, crafting content that directly supports lead generation, signups, and conversions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend content, creative assets, and tactics that resonate with our audience.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and complete other tasks as assigned to meet team goals.
- 3+ years of SaaS content writing experience, preferably targeting a technical audience like developers or IT professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to produce accurate, valuable, and engaging content for technical audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, particularly with on-page elements such as keyword use and interlinking.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate timelines effectively to stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to ask clarifying questions to ensure deliverables meet objectives.
- Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The annual starting salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This role will be accepting applications until 1/30/25 at a minimum. Please note that the application timeline may be flexible to accommodate a comprehensive candidate evaluation.
