About Arondite

Arondite enables organisations to wield autonomy, data and AI at scale. We equip operators with the foundational software to orchestrate their mix of platforms and capabilities and take mission-critical decisions faster than their adversaries.

We exist to ensure the UK and its allies out-think, out-pace and out-adapt those who seek to threaten our values and way of life. Our technology is designed for deployment in the world’s most austere environments, and is relied upon by the world’s most demanding operators. We deploy alongside them, bringing our technical expertise wherever it is needed.

You will join Arondite at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. We are ambitious, building for the long-term and backed by globally renowned investors including Index Ventures (Anthropic, Wiz, Figma, Revolut). Our company is being built by exceptional people; people who find high-tempo and challenging work engaging and exciting and who consistently deliver outsized impact. You will collaborate with other brilliant minds to solve some of the world’s hardest and most important problems.

You will have ownership and autonomy from Day One. There is no corporate ladder at Arondite. We hire the best people and give them extremely high levels of autonomy; the sky is the limit for an individual with the right ambition.

If you are motivated by our mission and if you want to be part of an outstanding team, then we want to hear from you.

About the role

We are looking for a Content Strategy Lead to own the content that helps the world understand what Arondite is building, and why it matters. You will ensure we communicate with intent, quality and consistency across every audience and channel: customers, partners, future colleagues, the wider technology ecosystem and the communities we serve.

We have a lot to say and a lot to keep track of, from thought leadership, white papers and solution briefs to website, email, social and event material. You will build the editorial engine behind all of it: planning the calendar, writing much of the content yourself, and making sure every piece ladders back to our narrative. You will work closely with the Product Marketing Lead, who owns the product and technical point of view, and the Creative Lead, who owns how it looks. You will join a lean MarComms team that is scaling fast, reporting to the Director of Communications & Marketing.

There is no content playbook to inherit: you will write it, then build the function around it.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Owning Arondite’s content strategy, editorial calendar and content plan across channels and audiences, tying activity to launches, events, campaigns and business priorities.
  • Planning and producing integrated campaign content across a range of verticals, ensuring every asset reinforces Arondite’s narrative and supports the needs of customers, partners and the engineering talent we want to hire.
  • Writing and editing high-quality content yourself, including thought leadership, articles, op-eds, short-form posts, white papers, solution briefs, case study write-ups, nurture emails, website copy and event materials.
  • Developing founder and leadership communications, including ghostwritten articles, talks, keynotes and speaker decks that help make Arondite a world-leading voice on the most consequential technologies of our age.
  • Partnering closely with product, engineering, deployed teams, product marketing and creative colleagues to translate complex technical ideas into clear, accurate and compelling content.
  • Creating sales enablement content that helps customers understand how Arondite and Cobalt can accelerate their operations.
  • Owning LinkedIn and other social channels, using performance data to grow our audience and continually sharpen what we publish.
  • Setting and maintaining Arondite’s tone of voice, editorial standards and content governance, including accuracy, quality and security review processes.
  • Scripting video and other multimedia content with our creative teams, ensuring the message is as strong as the execution.

Requirements

Arondite aims to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and with different perspectives; we therefore don’t expect people to have experience across every area of the requirements. Please apply even if you only partially fulfil the following lists.

You should have:
  • Strong experience in content marketing, editorial or journalism, ideally in B2B technology.
  • Experience creating content that has measurably driven pipeline, audience growth or commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across formats, from a 50-word social post to a 1,500-word essay.
  • Experience writing convincingly in someone else’s voice, including for senior stakeholders or subject-matter experts.
  • The curiosity and rigour to work closely with engineers and deployed teams, and to understand a technical product well enough to write about it accurately.
  • Experience planning and running content and distribution across several channels and stakeholders, guided by performance data.
  • An eye for how the finished piece looks, not just what it says, and the ability to work effectively with creative partners.
  • Strong judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Willingness to travel (likely to be up to 25% of the time).
Ideally, you would also have:
  • Experience writing about enterprise AI, automation, data platforms, defence, national security or critical infrastructure.
  • Experience ghostwriting for founders or senior executives, including developing talks and presentations.
  • Information design or visual design skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, marketing automation and content analytics tools.
  • Experience creating employer brand or recruitment content for technical talent.
Right to Work

We require that all candidates have an existing Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

We believe in working closely with defence customers. As a result, this role is likely to require you to hold a clearance or be willing to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above. This normally requires having continuous residency in the UK for at least 5 years.

Office vs hybrid working

We are focused on building a positive, collaborative engineering-driven culture. We therefore believe in making the office a friendly, comfortable and fun place to be, and we try to work from the office where possible. Of course, there are times when it makes sense for you to work from home and that's OK. You may also need to travel to visit customers, depending on your role. But in general, you should only apply to join Arondite if you're excited to come into the office and work in person by default.

Application process

Following initial CV submission, the interview process for this role is normally:

  1. Introductory call (15-30 mins)
  2. Hiring manager Teams interview (45-60 mins)
  3. In-person interview with the Communications & Marketing team, including an exercise (1-2 hours)
