The Role
You will be the creative engine driving high velocity video ads that convert. This role sits at the crossroads of paid social, AI video production, and constant experimentation. You will ideate, script, produce, and iterate ads that directly improve ROAS, CPI, and hook rate across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels.
This is a hands on, performance driven role. You will work with AI tools, UGC creators, and freelance editors while collaborating closely with the Growth Manager to keep the paid pipeline full of new and continuously improved creative.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy and Production
- Produce 5 or more new ad concepts per week and 20 or more hooks per week
- Ship 20 or more finished video ads weekly, including self produced and freelancer deliverey
- Use AI tools such as Sora, Veo, Midjourney, and Runway to build scalable video assets
- Write scripts, hooks, angles, headlines, and narratives
- Experiment with UGC, humour, TikTok native and emotional storytelling, skits, and mixed media AI formats
- Build and maintain a creative testing roadmap with fast iteration speed
Pipeline Ownership
- Manage freelance editors and UGC creators including hiring and training
- Coordinate shoots both remote and London based
- Develop repeatable creative workflows and pipelines
- Work towards fully owning the creative production flywheel end to end
Data and Performance
- Pull and interpret your own creative performance data
- Analyse hook rate, click to conversion, CPI, and ROAS to form hypotheses
- Scale winning concepts and kill or iterate quickly on underperforming work
Requirements
- Proven track record producing high performing ads, ideally from within SaaS, apps or consumer brands
- Self-starter with a maker mindset. Startup experience is a plus.
- Portfolio/work examples featuring video ads and performance focused creative
- Experience managing a significant monthly ad spend
- Experience experimenting with AI video and creative tools such as Sora, Veo, Midjourney, and Runway
- Strong creative instinct and ability to judge quality quickly
- High autonomy and ownership, curiosity about new formats and tools, and a scrappy approach to execution
- Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality
- Cultural fluency: you understand what resonates online with Gen Z and young adults in the United States including memes, pacing, creators, and internet humour
- Comfortable switching between fast and rough tests and more polished production depending on learning goals
