Content & Social Media Lead

Location: New York (Office)

On-site | Full-time

Compensation: $100K - $140K

We are hiring on behalf of our client, the leading accelerator for crypto founders, they have backed over 300 startups since 2020—including industry leaders like Rain, Synthetix, and Pendle—now collectively valued at over $10B. They are looking for a Content & Social Media Lead to take over their digital presence and content engine with one primary mission: driving high-quality applications from the next generation of visionary founders.

Reporting directly to the co-founder, you will be the voice of the organization. You won't just be "posting"; you’ll be turning raw material—founder wins, cohort data, and community memes—into a high-growth distribution machine. In this role, you will move fast, experiment often, and own the narrative. You are responsible for:

Key responsibilities:

  • Platform Ownership: Managing their presence on X and LinkedIn, including voice, cadence, and growth strategy.
  • Content Creation: Transforming internal data, stories, and "Good Game" content into high-performing threads, clips, and short-form video.
  • High-Leverage Copywriting: Writing and refining copy for their website, lifecycle emails, event communications, and DAO updates.
  • Systems Management: Running a streamlined content calendar with clear pillars and repurposing workflows, managing contractors as needed.
  • Data-Driven Iteration: Tracking intent signals (DMs, application starts) and doubling down on what works.

What success looks like in your first 90 days:

  • A consistent weekly cadence on social platforms with repeatable, high-engagement formats.
  • A measurable lift in inbound signals and "heard about us via social" attributions.
  • A content pipeline that runs autonomously without constant partner oversight.

Requirements

They are looking for a high-agency operator who lives and breathes the space. This is not a role for "corporate" marketers; they need a real participant.

  • Crypto-Native: You understand the culture, the tech, and the language. You can write like an insider.
  • Exceptional Writer: You have a "taste" for what is sharp, crisp, and high-clarity. You know how to avoid "cringe" while taking calculated risks.
  • High Agency: You don't wait for a brief. You find the story, pull the thread, and ship.
  • AI Proficient: You use modern AI tools to move 10x faster without ever letting the output sound robotic.
  • Platform Expertise: Proven ability to grow audiences on X and expand beyond the crypto bubble.
  • Location: Ability to work on-site in NYC.

Bonus Points:

  • A strong creative network in NYC (video, photo, editing).
  • 5–10 links to original content (threads, essays, or landing pages) that show a unique voice.
  • Experience in content-heavy roles at top protocols, funds, or high-growth startups.
