AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration.  Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working.  Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you’ll do

In this new role, we are looking for a creative, passionate content marketing professional to join AlixPartners’ Content and Communications team, which sits within the firm’s growing Marketing and Business Development function.

We’re the people who are tasked with telling the incredible stories from across AlixPartners globally, bringing to life the many “When It Really Matters” moments that showcase the firm’s unique way of working and the associated outsized outcomes that we deliver for clients every day.  

You will develop and deliver targeted and sophisticated marketing materials for deployment primarily in the EMEA region, which clearly communicate the value of the firm’s expertise and experience to external client and prospective client audience groups.  

The Content Marketer role is a full-time position, reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, in which you will:

  • Work in collaboration with Business Marketing/Content Marketing functions as required to understand, interpret, and accurately articulate the firm’s experience and expertise in a compelling and creative manner. Developing strong relationships with the firm’s broader Business Marketing functions and third-party supporting providers will be essential.
  • Develop and evolve creative, engaging marketing content across a wide range of formats that could include (but will not be limited to) written article insights and reports, printed/digital brochure-ware, video/audio output, client stories/case studies, social content, email content, and client presentation materials
  • Ensure critical elements of the corporate brand narrative are infused throughout materials, connecting the firm’s overarching value proposition to individual storytelling scenarios
  • Maintain quality control, clarity, and consistency in the marketing materials produced across a variety of formats for external and internal distribution
  • Proactively respond as necessary to feedback, iterating deliverables in partnership with contributing stakeholder groups within the business
  • Conduct content performance analysis
  • Brief and liaise with third-party vendor support agencies/independent contractors
  • Additional responsibilities as identified

What you’ll need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience* in B2B content/marketing, ideally within B2B agency, professional services (e.g. management consulting/human capital) or journalistic environments
  • Demonstrable portfolio of successful content and marketing material development and delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Arts/Humanities/Journalism/Business preferable
  • Experience in brand storytelling, marketing copywriting, market research, and creative asset direction and hands-on development
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices in creating engaging content
  • A passion for storytelling and an inquisitive mind, with the ability to grasp, distil, and translate business strategy and/or complex technical/financial information – including data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation – into impactful, jargon-free marketing communications – written, audio, and video
  • Proactive and responsive; able to juggle multiple large and complex projects under time pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Excellent, engaging communication beyond the written word, with proven interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience of collaborating with supporting marketing teams/sub-functions and managing assigned project workflow (e.g., stakeholder approvals, design/digital team support, third-party agencies/providers)
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS) and content creation platforms such as Canva, Riverside, Premiere/Final Cut Pro beneficial (high level of competence with MS Office products expected); knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends also beneficial
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, be accountable for results and adaptable and responsive to feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
  • Able to exercise sound independent judgment and display innovative thinking when problem-solving
