Description

Blockovate is a new and ambitious marketing agency on a mission to help innovative blockchain based solutions reach their target audience.

We work with leading blockchain projects and help transform their marketing efforts, ensuring their project reaches the right audience, and achieves its necessary goals.

Role

We are looking for a Content Manager (a complete crypto degen!) who possesses the ability to think both creatively and analytically. You should have thorough knowledge of all things cryptocurrencies i.e blockchain, metaverse, NFTs. Your duties will include producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading and managing a content team, among other tasks.

Content managers should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.

Key accountabilities

  • Translating product features and USPs into hard hitting engaging PR
  • Producing title plans for content rollouts
  • Creating and maintaining content calendars
  • Managing content across all platforms, including email and social media.
  • Writing high quality content briefs for both internal and external publication
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content.
  • Brainstorming with team members to develop new ideas.
  • Managing a content writing team
  • Keeping alert with the moving market and coming up with ideas for content along with the management team.
  • Create content for each stage of the customer journey 
  • Work closely with the SEO team to ensure content is best placed for ranking
  • Tailor content to different buyer personas
  • Translate content (with translators) to ensure all geo content is contextually correct
  • Source and manage regional writers as needed
Requirements

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with and managing external content producers
  • Knowledge of SEO and best practices
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems i.e. wordpress
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • An editorial mindset and an eye for writing and content design

Desirable:

  • Experience in content marketing/journalism at a tech startup or media outlet
  • Experience in inbound marketing (SEO, content strategy, development, distribution, and impact measurement)
