The impact you’ll have:

As an international content executive at loveholidays you’ll play a key role in our ambition to become Europe’s leading online travel agent. Working in our international content team, you’ll ensure our English content is translated seamlessly into multiple languages using AI and other means of translation. You’ll be comfortable using a range of AI powered tools to steer translations at scale and curating content from scratch. You’ll be the guardian of our tone of voice in some of our international markets and play a central role in ensuring our brand personality resonates well with our international customers. You will liaise with various internal and external teams and stakeholders.
Note: You will hold content ownership for all three key international markets. If you are fluent in one or two of the required languages, we provide advanced AI/translation tools or agency to effectively manage and support the remaining market(s)
Your day-to-day:

  • Creating, reviewing and editing Glossaries, translation prompts to ensure translation outputs for a range of channels are up to a high standard

  • Reviewing and editing copy translated from English to either Swedish, Danish or Norwegian to fit brand guidelines and tone of voice

  • Creating user centric content that helps resolves user issues and customer service queries

  • Working across the marketing team to curate content for email, push, social and brand activities in international markets.

  • Working with wider stakeholders to plan and deliver content that supports the wider business

Your skillset:

  • Fluent in English and at least one of these languages: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Polish, verbal as well as written communication

  • Ability to translate copy from English into either Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Polish to a high standard

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills

  • Understanding of how brand guidelines influence the copy you create, including tone of voice

  • Understanding of how to adapt copy to a range of platforms e.g. email and social media

  • Understanding of how content can be used to communicate customer service issues effectively

  • A team player who can work well with teams in the office and remotely

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise different projects effectively

  • Strong research skills

  • Fast learner

Desirable:

  • Any additional European language skills are very desirable, particularly Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Polish

  • Experience in managing translation agencies and translations from English into multiple languages.

  • Experience using platforms such as Braze, Twilio or similar to create email and push campaigns, as well as segmentation using custom data

  • Experience using analytics platforms such as Looker or Tableau to monitor performance, and make data-led decisions regarding future campaigns

  • Experience creating brand content

  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector

  • Good understanding of social media

  • Good understanding of how SEO influences onsite content
