Homes & Gardens specialises in creating authoritative, trustworthy and style-focused design and decoration content for American audiences. It is one of the world’s leading interiors websites and you’ll join a thriving, growing team.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Interiors, you'll create long-form features and short-form trending content for Homes & Gardens on all things color and paint. You'll join a growing team, and come up with ideas that are right for the audience, being in the know about all the new color trends, paint brand launches and collaborations, and creating connections with color experts and designers.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Relevant editorial experience with a background in digital
  • Interest in homes and interiors, and an ability to write for American audiences
  • SEO expertise and interest in and understanding of analytical tools, which you’ll use to form your content.
  • Writing and editing skills - from the ability to write snappy headlines to tight grammar control, through to the ability to source the right image to draw people in.
  • Experience with the data side of web editing and monitoring and interpreting performance and trends
