About the Team

The Content Design team at Miro is an integral part of our Design organization, shaping the user experience for some of our most impactful initiatives. This growing team operates within a centralized model, embedding deeply within high-priority cross-functional teams to craft user-centered content that guides and delights our users.


We are currently a small but mighty team based in Amsterdam and Berlin and we are scaling to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving product landscape.

 

As a Content Designer, you will join a team that prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and excellence in crafting content that drives clarity, consistency, and engagement across the Miro experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Content Designer to join our team and contribute directly to high-impact projects that elevate the Miro experience. 


You will be a key player in shaping the content design discipline at Miro, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, researchers, and product marketers to deliver content that enhances usability and drives adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our product and the growing maturity of our content design practice.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to help shape the product vision and create user-focused content for high-priority features and initiatives, ensuring clarity and consistency across the product
  • Plan, develop and deliver content that guides users effectively, reduces cognitive load, and aligns with Miro’s voice and tone guidelines
  • Contribute to the refinement and application of Miro’s content design guidelines, championing best practices and helping raise our quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, test content hypotheses, and iterate on solutions based on data and feedback
  • Participate in design and product reviews, providing clear rationale for content design decisions
  • Advocate for the value of content design, helping to integrate the discipline into the broader product development process

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing, with a strong background in creating content for digital products
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create clear, user-focused content and demonstrating the impact on user experience and business goals
  • Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX design, and engineering, to deliver seamless content solutions
  • Deep understanding of UX writing principles, information architecture, and user-centered design methodologies
  • Ability to align content strategies with business objectives, balancing user needs with technical feasibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of content design and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • A proactive and flexible approach, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
