Description
We're looking for a Content Design Team Lead to own the UX copy and content design across all our product interfaces. In other words…you’re a microcopy genius and you can find the right words to transform any user journey from confusing to “Wow, I want to do that again.”
As the team lead, you’ll help shape a seamless, pleasant, and frictionless user experience through copy and design. You’ll manage a team of content designers and work alongside product designers, UX researchers, product managers, category managers, PMMs, developers, and other roles, so collaboration will be key. Our mission is to change the way the world works. And that starts with choosing the right words for every screen, CTA, and tooltip. That’s where you come in.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $145,000-$155,000. Our salary is to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, locations, and other job-related qualifications and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for equity and benefits.
This is a full-time hybrid position and requires candidates to work from Fiverr's office 3 times a week.
What am I going to do?
- Maintaining content design guidelines
- Overseeing all content design, from draft to launch
- Working on new product releases, naming, and user flows
- Collaborating and partnering with design, product managers, PMMs, and UX researchers to get the right message across, at every touchpoint
- Managing and mentoring a team of talented content designers
- Promoting strategies to improve workflow
- Advocating for content design as part of the product development process
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in content design/UX writing, with at least 2 years managing content designers.
- Track record of driving impactful content design initiatives for leading tech companies.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Passion for words, user experience, and technology.
- Excitement for crafting content across various formats, from CTAs in small spaces to full product flows and user journeys.
- Ability to view character limits as creative opportunities.
- Skilled in balancing big-picture conceptualization with delivering detailed content design for user experiences like onboarding and checkout.
- Expertise in crafting concise, impactful messaging (e.g., summarizing ideas effectively).
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Talent for applying content design principles to both communication and team-building.
- Attention to detail without losing momentum on deliverables.
