We are now hiring a Content & Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team and support how Phoenix communicates across digital channels. This role will focus on creating engaging content, supporting social media activity, and helping bring campaigns and messaging to life across multiple platforms.

You will play an important role in shaping how Phoenix presents itself externally, working with internal stakeholders to create content that reflects our expertise, supports brand awareness, and drives engagement.

What will you be doing?
  • Create engaging content across multiple channels, including blogs, social media posts and email campaigns.
  • Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms, including LinkedIn and other social channels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of short‑form video content, including ideation and scripting.
  • Work with internal teams to create visual content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Apply basic SEO and content best practices to improve visibility and search performance.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business to gather content ideas and insights.
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns by creating and adapting content for different formats.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and support ongoing improvements.

What are we looking for?
  • Experience creating content across social media, blogs or email campaigns (typically 1–2 years).
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different channels and audiences.
  • Awareness of social media platforms and what content performs well across them.
  • Confidence supporting or contributing to short‑form video content.
  • Experience using basic design tools (e.g. Canva or similar) desirable.
  • Awareness of SEO principles and how content supports discoverability.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to review content performance and identify improvements.
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.

Where is the role based?
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42).

What about hybrid/remote working?
Hybrid working is supported, with a minimum expectation aligned to team requirements.

How many interviews?
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team, you can expect a two‑stage interview process, one online and one in‑person.

Important BPSS Check

As part of our recruitment process and due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a BPSS check. While some employees may require further security clearance, the BPSS check is mandatory and all offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion.
