You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and collaborate across product, design, content, and sales to bring clarity, consistency, and creativity to everything we say and write.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft clear, engaging copy for product packaging, brochures, press releases, and online listings across our LED and Memory divisions.
- Apply a clear message hierarchy in all content creation, ensuring every asset has a defined objective and call to action that aligns with audience intent and channel best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to bring brand and tactical campaigns to life across multiple touchpoints.
- Help refine our Tone of Voice (TOV) guidelines and ensure consistency across written materials, especially social and web content.
- Plan and manage the content calendar, supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, and evergreen storytelling.
- Write compelling case studies and brand narratives by liaising with sales, product managers, and visual content creators.
- Optimise content for SEO and integrate high-intent keywords into landing pages, Amazon listings, and blog articles.
- Develop engaging product descriptions and ensure all written content is proofed and on-brand before publication.
- Propose and implement content improvements for existing materials to enhance consistency, clarity, and customer relevance.
- Contribute to press releases, PR materials, and email campaigns with a strong creative hook and clear, consistent messaging that supports campaign objectives.
- Support broader marketing communications planning and persona-driven messaging with clear and targeted calls-to-action (CTAs).
Required Skills & Experience:
- A relevant degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years' experience writing for product-led and/or technology-driven brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both commercial copywriting and narrative-driven content.
- Experience crafting content for both B2B and B2C audiences across a variety of channels, including print, web, email, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to simplify technical features into clear consumer benefits with a customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, content planning, and publishing processes.
- Understanding of customer journeys, shopper psychology, and persuasive storytelling.
- Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional grammar, and strong proofreading skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
