Container Ship 2nd Engineer

Lead North American paper packaging sourcing, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, negotiations, risk management, sustainability, quality, productivity, and stakeholder engagement. Develop sourcing strategies, manage the supply base, drive innovation and digital procurement adoption, and deliver financial value. The role requires procurement and packaging experience, project and stakeholder management, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. Travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico is expected approximately 10% of the time.

Own creative and content strategy for a growth portfolio across paid and unpaid channels. Lead audience research, messaging, creative development, experimentation, landing-page optimization, performance analysis, and scaling of successful concepts. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, analytics, SEO, web, CRO, agencies, and technical teams. Develop AI-enabled workflows and testing frameworks while connecting creative decisions to acquisition, conversion, and business outcomes.

Develop reinforcement learning systems for autonomous agents by designing high-fidelity 2D/3D simulation environments, reward functions, and policy architectures. Implement and optimize algorithms such as PPO, SAC, and Offline RL for high-dimensional observations. Develop sim-to-real strategies using domain randomization and adaptation, collaborate with ML, annotation, and program management teams, and ensure reliable agent performance and environment parity.
