Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Represent the voice of the consumer in one of our key categories within our Personal Health business in the UK. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to drive household penetration, brand preference and market share in one of our major categories in the UK market.

You are responsible for:

  • Develop and deliver the local zone marketing activation plan based on agreed AOP for the category and local consumer insights together with the Consumer Marketing Lead (CML)
  • Champions the voice of the zone and provides business performance and local insights about consumers, markets, competition and trends to WE regional team 
  • Responsible for up to 24months planning performance, in the short and long-term to ensure the delivery of the FY key goals
  • Define local portfolio and channelization based on WE range/Channelization to accommodate local consumer & customer needs.
  • Embrace passion for fundamentals and ensure that every consumer touchpoint and  all consumer facing marketing activities (incl. D2C, AMZ and NBD) is perfectly executed (PDP, PoS,…) together with Shopper, Media/PR and professional team in the zone and x-functional region teams.
  • Ownership of the E2E performance for the respective category  in the UK and E2E performance squad lead, CMM is integrating and orchestrating all relevant functions (acts as E2E SoB squad lead) including performance management to drive E2E excellence in execution  and secure business performance is being delivered according to KPIs
  • Lead the development and execution of the Local Marketing Strategy and Planning, as well as, own the controllable A&P spent responsibility together with CML (e.g. sample budget)
  • Contributes in region strategic plan processes l and is responsible for delivering zone SOB Analysis/Ambitions and go2market enablers together with RBUL and CML
  • Marketing Performance Optimization and drives continuous improvements applying LEAN (DMB, Problem Solving)
  • Contributes actively to the development of new business models together with the regional team

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in digital consumer marketing  focusing on building an online brand
  • Experience as an integrator in a dynamic market and /or matrix organization ideally within FMCG
  • Brand activation experience and analytical skills
  • Experience with P&L management incl. revenue and margin management 
  • Marketing channel mix strategies (on-line and offline) 
  • Experience with working in a cross functional team 
  • Experience with working in a business with complex market/channel structures 
  • Applying Lean (Problem –solving skills, daily management)
  • Positive energy and drive to create impact
